What application deadlines are there?
There are no fixed deadlines, however, course places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Cancellations more than 2 months before a module are free of charge. Applicants cancelling their application two months before the course start must pay 50 % of the course fee. For cancellations later than one month before the course start the full course fee has to be paid.
What are payment conditions?
Invoices are sent out approx. 3 month before the first module according to the payment modalities (as you chose them in the application form) and are payable within 30 days. For applications later than 3 months before course start the invoice is sent out immediately. In any case the invoice must be settled before the module starts.
Can persons with a bachelor degree attend the programme?
Yes, if the programme is not fully booked.
They will receive a confirmation of attendance (and if applicable of the successful completion of the exam) issued by the respective course center. However, holders of a bachelor degree cannot achieve the certificate of advanced studies issued by the ETH Zurich (see above).
Can I start the programme cycle with module II or III?
Yes. Should you want to achieve the certificate, this is only issued to you after having attended all three modules and passed all exams (see above).
Can I attend only one or two modules?
Yes, if the modules are not fully booked. You will receive a confirmation of attendance (and if applicable of the successful completion of the exam) issued by the respective course center.
What does CAS stand for?
CAS stands for Certificate of Advanced Studies, a postgraduate degree according to the Bologna reform. There are further types of postgraduate degrees issued by the ETH Zurich.
