Application

Please read the following carefully, as it explains how to apply for the 3 modules and become an ETH student.

We look forward to receiving your application for either one module with an exam (for which you will receive a certificate of attendance), or preferably for all three modules. You can start the programme with any module. This application for all three modules serves as your study plan.

Each module costs €2,500.
This fee covers lectures and practical sessions, course materials, laboratory materials, transport to external course locations (e.g. factory visits), refreshments, lunches, and a welcome dinner.
Payment must be made in full before attending a module.
Payment arrangements can be agreed upon by selecting one of the three options in the study plan below.

After receiving the personal email confirmation for the modules, you should immediately apply to become an ETH student and be matriculated at ETHZ upon checking your documents. This will cost you another CHF 50.- or 150.- respectively and a one-time-fee of CHF 730.-.

No credits can be awarded for an attended module unless you are matriculated at ETHZ. You must enrol (free of charge) for each semester (whether or not you are attending a module) until you have completed all three modules and exams, and until you have received your ETH certificate.

On submission of your application you will receive an automatically generated message. This will be followed by a personally addressed e-mail confirming your application for the above module(s). Please note that this confirmation is binding and serves as course place reservation for the stated module(s).

Payment: The full and timely payment of the module fee is a pre-requisite for participation and module confirmation.

Cancellation fees:
Free of charge, 2 months or more before the start of the module.
Euro 1250, less than two months before the start of the module.
Euro 2500, less than one month before the module starts/no show.

Refund: No refund possible. An adequate insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
